Step 1: Download Universal Theme Patcher
Step 2: Extract -> Choose the corresponding patcher based on you Windows:
- For 32bit(x86): UniversalThemePatcher-x86.exe
- For 64bit(amd64): UniversalThemePatcher-x64.exe
Step 3: Require administrator rights. Right-click the exe file, select Run as Administrator.
Click OK to Continue
Click Yes to Continue 0r No to Exit:
- For XP/2003 only need to patch one file: uxtheme.dll
- For 2008/Vista/Windows 7 - x32 Windows: patch 3 files: themeservice.dll, themeui.dll, uxtheme.dll.
- For 2008/Vista/Windows 7 - x64 Windows:
1) Run UniversalThemePatcher-x86.exe patch 3 files: themeservice.dll, themeui.dll, uxtheme.dll.
2) Run UniversalThemePatcher-x64.exe patch all files.
Step 4: After patch, Restart computer.
Step 5: After Restart computer, Download and extract the theme on desktop.
Open the extracted folder.Now copy the what are inside of the "Folder_Theme" (includes Folder + file xyz.theme) -> paste them here (Local disk C:\Windows\Resources\Themes ) -> Run file "xyz.theme" to take effect.
